The project aims to train local labor and contribute to the development of the North region, aiming at planning public space lighting systems that use less electricity and require less maintenance, thus ensuring more quality in the use of spaces and less spending for city halls. In addition to providing jobs and training, the project will upgrade the public lighting system on the campus of the Federal University of Acre, replacing conventional lighting with LED, which consumes less energy and longer life, in addition to installing intelligent systems for control and operation, which will facilitate maintenance operations and enable the institution to efficiently manage its lighting system.
In addition to the training courses and retrofitting of public lighting on the ring road at the Federal University of Acre (UFAC), the project will also carry out the implementation and development of a public lighting laboratory for testing equipment and training professionals, in addition to carrying out workshops and scientific dissemination of knowledge produced during the project.
