eAmazônia is an institution that has the support of associates. Members have a participatory role in the organization's decisions, in addition to enjoying the services provided by eAmazônia, in accordance with its Statute.

Founding members are Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. (Eletrobras) and the Federal University of Acre (Ufac).
